How does the RiJe®​ Cup work?
The RiJe® Cup automatically dispenses pre-set amounts of thin or nectar thickened liquid. After the amount is withdrawn the user can refill the cup by bringing it to an upright position. The next amount will be dispensed within 2-3 seconds.​

​Can I use a regular straw with RiJe® Cup?
Yes.  Any regular drinking straw will fit the RiJe® Cup.

Can I use RiJe® Cup with carbonated beverages?
Carbonated beverages will render the RiJe®​ Cup ineffective for delivering an accurate dosage.

​​How can I adjust a sip volume?
The sip amount can be adjusted before filling the cup with liquid.  Use the Adjusting Key which comes with the cup.  One side of the key has a scale marked in milliliters [ml] and the other side is marked in tea spoons [ts]. To adjust the desirable amour, insert the Adjusting Key into sleeve of the  Upper Cap and turn the Rotatable Plug as shown in the Instructions to Use. To achieve the desirable volume, align the scale line on the Adjustable Key with the edge of the sleeve.  ​

How to close RiJe® Cup?
To close the cup, place your hand on the cup’s Base as shown on the video.  Then press and turn.  Make sure that the locks on the handles fit underneath the locks on the Upper Cap.

​Does the RiJe® Cup contain BPA?
No, the RiJe® Cup is non-BPA, and non-latex.

What is the RiJe®​ Cup made of?
The RiJe® Cup made of food grade, FDA approved polypropylene.  The sealing O-rings are made of food grade, FDA approved silicon. ​​

How can I clean RiJe®​ Cup? 
RiJe® Cup is industrial and home dishwasher safe up to 228 F.  For cleaning disassemble the cup as shown on the Disassembly Video (on the left).  The O-rings also can be easily removed and washed. Put all parts on the top rack of a dishwasher. Specially designed brush (shown below) can be used for hand-washing the cup. ​

​Can I remove one or both handles? 
We recommend keeping both handles attached to the cup during use. The locks on the handles help to keep the cup together. 
 
The handles can be easily removed for washing and then re-attached. Removing and attaching the handles will not damage the cup. ​
 
For your convenience you can hold the cup with or without grasping on the handles as shown on the pictures. You can hold it with one or two hands.​

​Can I microwave this cup?
The RiJe® Cup is not suitable for boiling liquids in a microwave.  The cup can be used in a microwave for warming up liquids to a temperature comfortable for drinking (32C/89.6F).​

​What happened if I drop RiJe®​ Cup?
 The RiJe® Cup is spill-controlled.  If it is dropped, it will spill only one portion of the liquid. The cup made of a high quality material and will not crack easily if dropped.​
